Chios Town is the only real service centre between Lesvos and Samos: diesel by tanker to the quay, gas refills, hardware shops and mechanics who can handle most engine work.

Fuel: no fuel dock — cans from town or a mini-tanker delivers larger quantities to the quay or to the marina north of town (Noonsite). CruisersWiki names tanker operator Glyptes (+30 6942 513 111), who will not come for small quantities. Roadside stations line the waterfront road (OSM). LPG: Greek gas and Camping Gaz are sold in town (Noonsite); CruisersWiki lists a cooking-gas store at 38°22.464'N 026°07.809'E, north along Nou Monomachou past the Tsatsaroni pharmacy, that refills and exchanges bottles including US ones. Chandlery: limited, but good hardware and tool shops (Noonsite). Engines: most mechanical repairs and light engineering possible (Noonsite). Haul-out: see Tholos Boatyard. Hospital: General Hospital of Chios 'Skylitsio' (OSM, 38.384 N 26.138 E). Position approximate: harbour centre.
