Arki Village Tavernas

37° 22.9′ N · 26° 44.2′ E

Three family tavernas on Arki's little square and quay — fresh fish, local goat cheese and the feeling of a Greece from decades ago.

Practical

Sailing Issues' favourite is Taverna Nikolas (child-friendly); OSM also maps Trypas and Falirakì. The three main tavernas close from the end of October to early May. Bread can be bought from the restaurants; fresh cheese from a shepherd at the end of the road uphill. Sailing Issues does not recommend 'Captain Stefanis', the restaurant on the south shore of the inlet (OSM 37.37941, 26.73482).
