Naoussa Marina (Paros)

37° 7.5′ N · 25° 14.1′ E

A municipal marina tucked beside the picture-postcard fishing harbour of Naoussa, under the ruined Venetian fort. Step ashore into one of the liveliest villages in the Cyclades.

Practical

Opened 2006; officially 74 berths with water and power at each, stern-to with your own anchor on the northern breakwater or (draft permitting) the southern quay; max length about 25 m (mySea). Noonsite (page dated 2022): depths average 3-5 m but are uneven off the south quay (quickly 2 m) and shallow at the western ends of both quays. Laid lines and mooring rings are partly missing, so you may need your own anchor; drop it as close to the centre of the harbour as possible to avoid the moorings' ground tackle (foul anchors are routine). To reserve, call the harbour master on +30 6956 098080 (number as of 2018-2022). Water and power are included in the fee, payment by card only. A 2018 report paid EUR 10 a day (monohull) or EUR 15 (catamaran) including power and water; verify locally. Very busy until early September, so arrive in the morning. Swell enters even in moderate northerlies, and in a strong meltemi entering can be hazardous. The north side of the pier is more sheltered, while the south side faces the swell. mySea recommends leaving above Force 6. Fuel by tanker via the harbour master, bottled gas, showers and toilets (keys from the HM). Max draft 3 m (paros.gr). Position from the mySea marina entry.
