Lavrio Port Police & Customs (Olympic Marine / Lavrio port)
37° 42.8′ N · 24° 3.8′ E
The port police (Limeniko) office for Lavrio, an official Greek port of entry. Yachts from Olympic Marine and the town quay deal with papers here, and customs is reported just behind the waterfront.
Practical
Lavrio is an official port of entry, and a charter-company guide places customs just behind the waterfront. Noforeignland cruisers rate the port authority office as friendly and efficient but hard to find: go through a blue side door to the top floor. A mySea note for Olympic Marine says to call the Lavrio harbour office 24 hours before arriving to authorise papers. Non-EU yachts, and EU yachts that cannot prove VAT-paid status, need a Greek Transit Log, applied for online via myAADE before arrival. Pay TEPAI cruising tax online via AADE for boats over 7 m. Charter yachts' paperwork is handled by the base. Port authorities in Greece work VHF 12. Coast Guard emergency number is 108. Position is the port-police POI on mySea.
