Lavrio Ferry Terminal (Kea, Kythnos & Cyclades ferries)

37° 42.8′ N · 24° 3.8′ E · approximate

Lavrio's ferry berths on the NE side of the harbour have the shortest crossings from Attica to the western Cyclades. Kea is about an hour away, which makes this terminal handy for crew changes mid-charter.

Practical

OLL lists 9 ferry berths/ramps in the NE section plus finger piers. Five ferry companies run to Kea, Kythnos, Andros, Tinos, Syros, Agios Efstratios, Psara, Lemnos and Kavala. Wikivoyage reports up to five Kea sailings a day in high season, taking 1 to 1.5 hours. Keep clear of ferry berths and their manoeuvring area, and expect wash in the yacht section. Coordinate is approximate, taken from the OSM 'New Port of Lavrio' car-park node beside the ferry quay.
