Koundouros Coves Snorkel (Kea)

Snorkel the rocky points between Koundouros's small sandy coves, in water greektravel calls some of the clearest it has seen. Kea Divers runs a base on Koundouraki beach here.

Kea Divers reports visibility usually over 30 m, water at 19-26 C and no significant current around Kea. Swim off the rocks near the old settlement (greektravel). Keep well clear of the Koundouros reef about 300 m offshore, which is used by dive boats. The coordinate is approximate: the OpenStreetMap Koundouros beach feature, since no single snorkel point is mapped. Snorkel from the shore along the rocks on either side.
