The 2025 Taha'a brief lists no water tap or laundry anywhere on the island, OpenStreetMap maps no drinking-water point or laundry on Taha'a, and the Tahiti Cruisers Guide's water and laundry pages list nothing for Taha'a. The Taha'a Yacht Club in Apu Bay offers showers, toilets and waste collection to visiting sailors (87 27 53 57); ask there about water. Nearest confirmed water: Marina Apooiti (Raiatea) faucets, asking the office first if you are not berthed there, and the fuel and water point 50 m from the Uturoa marina entrance used by the charter base. Laundry: O'rion Yacht Services (87 70 99 01) and Violetta (87 29 21 70, free pick-up and delivery) work near the Uturoa boatyards; prices reported at 1,000 XPF per load (2018), verify locally. Run the watermaker only in clean water outside the bays, and don't discharge grey water in the lagoon (3 NM offshore rule).
