IATA RUR / ICAO NTAR; runway 09/27, 1,450 m asphalt. Air Tahiti serves Papeete, Rimatara and Tubuai. Tahiti Tourisme says at least 4 flights a week; sit on the left for the view on approach. The airport is far from the villages, so arrange a pickup. Bikes, scooters and cars are rented by the airport (Moana 2023).
