Rurutu grows and roasts its own coffee, and the little 'Manureva' factory at the north end of Moerai gives tours and sells it freshly ground, cheaper than the shops.

Approximate position: the north end of Moerai village on RT 311, per Pitufa's description; the building is not mapped, so ask in town. Pitufa (2018) took the tour; Moana (2023) confirms local coffee production with no export. Background: Rurutu produced about 100 t a year in the 1960s, falling to 3 t by 1997 (fr.wikipedia).
