One of Ikitake's two tiny shops, with staples only. Come to Amanu fully provisioned.

Practical

Hours (Dec 2020): 6:30am-11:30am and 3:30pm-6pm. From the basin turn right; it is on the right. Very limited stock and no fresh goods; no frozen meat or beer seen in 2020. A second shop, on a small dirt road opposite the small concrete jetty on the west side of the harbour, has a few staples and some frozen food, and gets fresh food when a ship calls. The supply ships are the Taporo VIII and Maris Stella III; fruit and vegetables can sometimes be bought off the ship. One crew warns that pre-ordering from the Maris Stella simply took produce that locals would otherwise have bought (2021). You may be able to buy a small amount of gasoline from a shop owner. One cruiser got 20 L in 2019, and in 2020 a boat was told to wait for the ship. Position approximate: placed in Ikitake village between Passe Fafameru and the Point Koutu Korigo anchorage, derived from the compendium's descriptions; the exact building was not located on a map. The 2019 commune profile confirms just 2 magasins and 1 drinks licence on the atoll. Duplicat (2017) placed a small shop by the boat harbour, about the last building as you walk south out of town.
