Amanu Second Magasin (west of harbour)
17° 50.8′ S · 140° 51.3′ W · approximate
Ikitake's other small shop, up a dirt lane opposite the little concrete jetty on the west side of the harbour. It has a freezer, so it is the place for frozen food and anything fresh after a ship.
Practical
Ari B (Feb 2021): a small selection of staples and some frozen food. Luci Para 2 (June 2020): the shop off the main road with a freezer expected fresh food on the next supply ship. Shop on or right after a ship day (Taporo VIII, Maris Stella III or Nuku Hau). Fresh produce bought off the ship comes out of the locals' share, so bring what you need from Hao or Rikitea. The 2019 commune profile counts only 2 magasins on Amanu. Cash XPF. Position approximate: placed in Ikitake village between Passe Fafameru and the Point Koutu Korigo anchorage, derived from the compendium's descriptions; the exact building was not located on a map.
