The volunteer-run tourism committee hut on the Rotoava quay is the recommended first stop for yachts. It has the anchorage chart, the sailors' briefing, supply-ship dates and free Wi-Fi.

Ask here for the Fakarava anchorage chart and sailors' briefing, schooner arrival times, local events and markets, and contacts for Blue Lagoon excursions and environmental volunteering (beach clean-ups, school talks). Volunteers also carry used batteries back to Tahiti. Coordinate approx: placed at the Rotoava quay area, between Kaina Plongee (OSM, which Soggy Paws puts just north of the quay) and the public slipway (OSM). The building itself is not individually mapped.
