Practical
Maximum 25,000 XPF per withdrawal, but repeat withdrawals work. There is no bank on Fakarava. Only a few businesses take cards: all the grocery stores do, and some restaurants and stores accept US dollars (Noonsite). Bring cash for Tetamanu, Hirifa, the produce stands and the supply ship. Directions: from the main dock turn left, then take the first right; the post office is on the right.
