A quiet reef-protected overnight anchorage at Puerto Rico's southeast corner, the last stop before rounding toward Palmas del Mar, Vieques and the Virgin Islands.

Position approx: inside the bay off Puerto Patillas, checked to be in water on OpenStreetMap; the Virgintino PR guide's waypoint 17°57.54N 66°00.16W lies 1 nm SW of the entrance. 10 ft or less; hunt around for a spot you like. Keep away from the coral reef west of Point Viento as you enter: stay to port until clear. The guide rates it 'excellent'. Few services.
