Playa Sucia (La Playuela)
17° 56.1′ N · 67° 11.4′ W · approximate
A crescent of pale sand on Bahía Sucia, tucked under the Los Morrillos lighthouse cliffs at the island's southwest tip.
Practical
Position approx: beach as mapped on OpenStreetMap. Reached by road through the Cabo Rojo salt flats; part of the protected Los Morrillos/Cabo Rojo refuge area (Wikipedia). No services: bring water and shade, and carry out trash. The bay is open to the south, so a yacht stop is only for a calm-day lunch.
Best for
A wild beach day by car from Boquerón
