Northwest Point Marine National Park wall
21° 51.9′ N · 72° 20.4′ W · approximate
The dramatic northwest tip of Provo, where the Caicos plateau drops off a sheer wall — dramatic edge diving and, in calm weather, excellent snorkeling off the point.
Practical
Coordinate approximate: offshore of the Northwest Point marker. Visit TCI describes wall diving here with dramatic edges; the wall top off nearby Malcolm's Road is about 50 ft and falls beyond 7,000 ft. Exposed to ocean swell; boats from South Side Marina and Provo dive shops run here. Inland, Northwest Point Pond Nature Reserve has excellent birdlife. Ashore the area is remote with an elevated crime risk and rough 4x4-only tracks. National park: no take.
