Graham's Cay Moorings (Josh's Cay, Guanaja)

16° 27.6′ N · 85° 50.0′ W · approximate

A small resort cay on Guanaja's south side with a handful of moorings, an open-air bar-restaurant, an outdoor aquarium and a menagerie — a restful stop in calm weather.

Practical

Older OCC notes: six moorings (free at the time), or anchor clear of the marker for the power cable running to the main island; follow markers to the dinghy dock on the reef side; free laundry, water, ice and trash for patrons were offered then — verify locally. Noonsite: good holding in sand, protected by the reef and the cay. A yacht anchored here was boarded by armed men and robbed in April 2017. Coordinate approximate: offset from the OSM 'Graham's Place' resort node (16.45890, -85.83164) toward the main island.
