Isla Carenero's east shore is a strip of palm-shaded beaches and over-water decks — burgers and cocktails at Bibi's, cheap drinks at Aqua Lounge, and one of Bocas' best lunches at Receta Michela.

Position approximate (Carenero's east shore). Bibi's on the Beach: deck over the water on the east side, burgers from about US$9, US$3 happy-hour cocktails, free Wi-Fi for customers, snorkel from its ladder to the offshore rocks (Wikivoyage, 2020 — verify locally). Aqua Lounge: over-water bar and hostel at Carenero's southern tip directly across from town, US$1 water taxi (Wikivoyage). Receta Michela: beachfront, much of its produce from Up in the Hill farm (melonthego 2022). A small grocery is in the village near the southern tip. Watch for fire coral and surf on the offshore rocks.
