Every morning the Bocas cruising and expat community runs a VHF net — weather, arrivals, swaps, events and help with anything from parts to vets.
Practical
Daily at 7:45 am on VHF channel 68 (Noonsite, 2026; melonthego 2022). Also a 24/7 emergency radio network for anyone in difficulty or injured (Noonsite). Red Frog Marina and Marina Carenero monitor VHF 68 rather than 16 (Noonsite cruiser report 2017; Scuttlebutt). Coordinate is the town centre — the net covers the whole archipelago.
