Bight Reef (Coral Gardens) snorkel (Grace Bay)

21° 47.1′ N · 72° 12.3′ W

Provo's most popular shore snorkel: a single coral ridge running about 350 ft straight off the Bight Beach, busy with turtles, stingrays and used-to-people reef fish.

Practical

Depth reaches 15–20 ft at the outer end, where the coral is best. Do not swim inside the circle of buoys — it's a coral conservation zone. Boat traffic is a real danger. Two adjacent beach accesses with parking; JoJo's and Somewhere Café are in the dune. Part of Princess Alexandra National Park.

Best for

Easy turtle snorkel for the whole crew
