Bajo de Tortuguilla (Southwest Reef Bank)
10° 2.8′ N · 75° 53.1′ W
An offshore reef shoal well southwest of the Rosarios on the route toward San Bernardo - one of the park's banks that is rich in reef life but a hazard to boats.
Practical
OSM position for 'Bajo de Tortuguilla'. Spanish Wikipedia names an elongated Tortugas bank in the southwest of the park among the reef shoals that are navigation hazards; the national guide lists a Tortuguilla light among the Gulf of Morrosquillo's aids. Give it a wide berth on passage; dive only with an authorized operator in calm weather.
