Barco de San Martín de Pajarales (Wreck Dive)

10° 10.5′ N · 75° 46.3′ W · approximate

A wreck dive beside the Oceanario islet of San Martín de Pajarales, named by Colombia's national tourism board as one of the Rosarios' signature dives along with the Pavitos wall and Isla Gloria.

Practical

Coordinate approximate: placed just south of the San Martín de Pajarales islet (OSM way 12188769) near the official Oceanario anchoring waypoint A14 (10.17413, -75.77237); the wreck's exact position was not published - your dive operator will take you to it. Colombia.travel groups the Barco de San Martín de Pajarales with Cantil Isla Pavitos and Isla Gloria as sites of 10–40 m with hard corals, sponges, crabs, lobsters and reef fish, and also lists El Canal, El Manglar, El Bajo de las Barracudas, La Pared and Pargo as popular Rosario dives. Combine with a morning visit to the Oceanario (open 9 am–1:30 pm). Boat traffic is heavy around the aquarium from mid-morning - fly a dive flag and keep the dinghy close. Park rules: don't touch, stand on or anchor on coral; no collecting; dive only with an operator licensed for the park (Parques Nacionales).
