Practical
ActiveCaptain (as of February 2024): closed Tuesday and Wednesday; takes cash and PayPal; VHF 16. Dinghy dock (new 2019) is for patrons only, reached by a 15-ft-wide dredged channel (2-3 ft at high tide) just west of the easternmost jetty; very shallow at low tide. Laundry was reported for patrons in 2017-2018. Facilities are for guests and customers. Bahamas Cruisers Guide (2019) lists washers and dryers at $4 a load, suspended in March 2019 because of septic overload; ActiveCaptain (April 2022) lists a laundromat again, so ask before bringing laundry.
