Position is approximate, just uphill (east) of the Hillside Grocery OpenStreetMap node; ActiveCaptain's Salt Pond notes say to walk up the street beside Hillside Grocery to find his home and business. Availability depends on the catch and on season (Bahamas lobster season is closed April to July). The same notes report water at the Long Island Petroleum dock (20 cents a gallon in that report; verify locally). From the Thompson Bay anchorage, land at Basil's dinghy dock (badly damaged by Hurricane Melissa in 2025; check its condition) or the cultural centre beach and walk.
