ActiveCaptain: land anywhere on the beach, best north of the marker for the road into town, which you can see from the anchorage; park the dinghy in front of the 'airplane building' and walk toward town (the dump is about 7 minutes along on the left). Cheshire Cat (2025): a long walk up the hill to Duncan Town. Shallow water off the beach means a long wade at low tide; surge and fetch in the anchorage (see 'Ragged Island Southside Anchorage').
