Ragged Island airplane-roof building
22° 10.5′ N · 75° 43.6′ W · approximate
A building on the Southside shore with an old aircraft on its roof, the landmark cruisers use to find the road to Duncan Town.
Practical
Coordinate approx: on the Southside shore north of the anchorage, from cruiser directions; not published. ActiveCaptain reviewers (2021, 2026) land the dinghy in front of the 'airplane building' / 'house with the airplane on the roof' and walk the road toward town, passing the dump after about 7 minutes. Soundings (about 2006) described Duncan Town's Eagle's Nest saloon with a DC-3 on its roof; whether it is the same building is not confirmed.
