24° 13.6′ N · 75° 23.8′ W · approximate

A long, clean white-sand beach in the south-east corner of the Bight, fronting the Rollezzz Beach Resort and the Old Bight settlement. The bottom shoals so gradually that it is a fine swimming beach.

Practical

Coordinate is the ActiveCaptain anchorage marker, about 200 ft off the beach. Land the dinghy anywhere along the beach. Rollezzz has hosted cruiser beach parties with a bonfire (2022). The Bahamas tourism board lists Old Bight Beach for its white sand. Exposed to anything westerly; in E-SE trades the water is flat.
