Armbrister Plantation ruins
24° 17.7′ N · 75° 24.5′ W · approximate
Overgrown stone ruins of a cotton-era plantation house just south of the Hermitage, a reminder of the plantation economy that once ran Cat Island.
Practical
Wikipedia places the ruins just south of the Hermitage; the coordinate is the Hermitage summit, so look for them on the walk. A 2011 cruiser combined the Hermitage climb with a look round 'the ruins of the old plantation house'. Unrestored; watch your footing.
