Moss Town and Colonel Hill Bay beaches (north-east Crooked Island)
22° 48.8′ N · 74° 16.0′ W · approximate
Long, mostly deserted strips of white sand along Crooked Island's north-east shore near Moss Town and Colonel Hill Bay, with only a few houses behind them.
Practical
Position is the Moss Town node in OpenStreetMap; the beaches run along the nearby shore toward Colonel Hill Bay. Reach by car from Landrail Point or Colonel Hill. Narrow at high tide, and parts of the Colonel Hill Bay strip flood completely at high water, so go at mid to low tide. Water can be hazy; not a reliable snorkel. Atlantic-facing: no yacht anchorage.
Best for
A deserted beach walk on a road trip across the island
