Shark Junction

26° 30.2′ N · 78° 37.0′ W · approximate

One of the world's first organised shark dives: kneel on the sand in about 45 ft and Caribbean reef sharks circle in from the blue while a feeder works the bait.

Practical

Position is the rounded site position from SailAbacos, not a surveyed fix. Grand Bahama Scuba runs it and describes several large Caribbean reef sharks; UNEXSO, which pioneered it, lists its shark dive as 'returning soon'. Done only with an operator and a briefing; do not drop your own anchor or spearfish here.

Best for

Close-up reef sharks for any certified diver
