Smith's Point Fish Fry
26° 31.2′ N · 78° 37.1′ W
Every Wednesday night the little beach settlement of Smith's Point, next to Taino Beach, turns into Grand Bahama's best party: a row of family fish shacks frying snapper, potato bread and conch salad, then music and dancing on the sand.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap (Smith's Point Fish Fry Home). The tourism ministry gives the start as 6 pm (the island tourism board says 6:30 pm), every Wednesday. Bring cash. Taxi from the marinas and arrange a pickup time; it runs late.
