Beach· North Bimini· Bahamas — North
Radio Beach
25° 43.6′ N · 79° 18.0′ W · approximate
The long sandy beach on the west side of Alice Town facing the Straits of Florida, part of a run of white-sand beaches up North Bimini's west shore and the best sunset spot in town.
Practical
Position approximate: the west-shore beach due east of the ActiveCaptain Alice Town anchorage (which sits about 400 yards off it); the beach is a short walk across the island from the harbour marinas. Swimming is off the open Gulf Stream side, so it is calm in east winds and rough in westerlies. Land a dinghy here from the Alice Town anchorage and pull it well up.
Best for
Sunset swim a block from the marinas
