Grand Cay Customs & Immigration (Port of Entry)

27° 13.4′ N · 78° 19.4′ W · approximate

The customs and immigration office for the far north, in the government building by the BTC tower on Little Grand Cay. It took over from Walker's Cay in 2016 and is the usual first stop for boats arriving off the Little Bahama Bank from the north.

Practical

Pinned at the settlement coordinate; ActiveCaptain places the office about 50 ft from the BTC tower and convenient to the Little Grand Cay anchorage. Noforeignland's area guide reports the office open daily 7 am to 7 pm, with after-hours service possible (overtime charges may apply). Have Click2Clear done and forms printed; past reports describe officers coming to the boat or meeting cruisers at Rosie's back deck and finishing in about 10 minutes (2017-2019). Captain only ashore under the Q flag. Fees from April 1, 2026 follow the new Bahamas cruising-permit tiers; verify on Click2Clear. Map position is an approximate representative point for this entry (derived from the nearest settlement, dock or harbour named above), not a surveyed location.
