The great crossroads anchorage of the central Exumas — a wide sand bay between Big Major Spot and Fowl Cay with excellent holding, room for dozens of boats, and the pigs swimming out to meet you.
Practical
Depths 7-12 ft, tidal range 2.5-3.0 ft, excellent holding in clean sand. Very good protection north through south; wide open WSW through WNW, so leave before a frontal clocking. Crowded in season — anchor well off the beach so pig-tour boats can work the shore. Dinghy to Staniel ~10 min.
