Salt Whistle Bay Beach

12° 38.8′ N · 61° 23.4′ W

A crescent of powder-white sand with exceptionally calm water on the lee side and the Atlantic just across a narrow sand isthmus on the windward side.

Practical

Position is the former Salt Whistle Bay Club grounds at the back of the beach (OpenStreetMap). Perfect swimming in the bay; walk across the isthmus to see the windward reefs. From the small dock, a steep road climbs to the village and church (about 20 minutes). Part of the Tobago Cays Marine Park: no fishing or taking marine life.
