Mayreau's single village (Old Wall) climbs the road from Saline Bay, lined with small grocery stores, cafes and rum shops.
Practical
Position is J & C Supermarket (OpenStreetMap); First Stop Supermarket is near the bottom of the hill and Thecla's Shop near the church. Stock is basic and limited (Noonsite: a supermarket with a limited range; one cruiser could not buy beer). No ATM; card machines are unreliable. Bread is sold at the internet cafe below Dennis' Hideaway and at Simon's Roadside Bakery. Many bars along the road (Dennis' Hideaway, Island Paradise, J&C, Hill Top, Papa San) open toward evening. Do your serious provisioning in Canouan or Clifton.
