Piton Falls

13° 50.3′ N · 61° 3.6′ W

A rainforest waterfall between the Pitons where warm mineral water from the volcanic area tumbles into small pools, a soak-and-swim stop close to the Malgretoute and Pitons Bay moorings.

Practical

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap waterfall node 'Piton Falls' (2621272096). The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority describes it as located between the Pitons with warm mineral waters flowing into small pools; height, hours and fees are not published (verify locally; a small entry fee is normal at St Lucia's private falls). Reach it by taxi or on foot along the road from Soufrière or the Malgretoute/Pitons Bay moorings, and combine with Sulphur Springs. Wear water shoes; rocks are slippery and the water stains light swimwear.

Best for

A warm-water soak after a morning on the Pitons
