Petit Byahaut Anchorage
13° 11.0′ N · 61° 16.0′ W · approximate
A secluded little bay between Kingstown and Buccament with no road access, backed by steep forest, with snorkelling along its north side.
Practical
Coordinate is derived (approx): moved in audit round 2 to open water inside the small bay at Petit Byahaut, checked against the OpenStreetMap coastline (the earlier point fell about 200 m inland). Confirm depth and swing room on your chart. A cruising couple (Blue Dot Voyages) anchored overnight and found great snorkelling along the north side. Noforeignland reviews are mixed: one stresses crime risk, and others advise anchoring clear of coral, locking up valuables and keeping the VHF on at night. Petit Byahaut is also a dive site: a beginner-friendly reef that drops to about 100 ft, a good night dive (SVG Tourism). Day stop by preference; follow the SVG security advisory.
Best for
Quiet snorkelling and diving stop on the leeward coast
Season
Leeward-coast anchorage; uncomfortable in winter north swell
