Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap supermarket node 'Massy's' (5278248224) in the town centre beside the banks; Super J (Monday–Saturday 9 am to 8 pm, Sunday 9 am to 6 pm per OpenStreetMap) and Greene's Supermarket are a few steps away, with bakeries (Morne Bakery, Ideal Bakery) and Bacadere Laundry nearby. Noonsite (March 2024): provisioning is good, with a couple of well-stocked supermarkets in malls near town and fresh produce in Vieux Fort itself; there is a very good fish market; gas bottles can be filled directly at the Shell depot down by the commercial wharf. Road fuel at several Rubis stations in town (jerry cans). Security: Noonsite strongly advises against staying overnight in Vieux Fort and recommends keeping crew aboard and the boat locked if you stop by day; most crews provision by taxi from Laborie or from Soufrière instead.
