Jack-A-Dan Reef Dive Site
12° 29.7′ N · 61° 28.0′ W
A shallow, sheltered reef on a gentle slope with hard and soft corals, sand channels and big blocks, and a stratified cliff that hides spiny lobsters, grunts, spotted drums and morays. A favourite training and check-out dive.
Practical
Coordinate from Dive Carriacou's dive-site map. Conditions are almost always calm. The 'Jack-A-Dan West side' variant (12.49585 N, 61.46767 W) is an advanced drop-in without a mooring, from a reef garden at 8 m over a coral finger to 16 m, with schooling fish, morays, rays and the odd nurse shark.
Best for
Beginner dives and snorkel-friendly reef
