A World Adrift Underwater Sculpture Park

12° 29.7′ N · 61° 28.1′ W · approximate

Thirty stainless-steel-and-cement origami boats, each 'steered' by a cast of a local schoolchild, set in 4 m of water off Hillsborough in 2023. It is a climate-change memorial that now works as an artificial reef and coral nursery.

Practical

Position is approximate. Dive Carriacou describes it as 'just off the coast of Hillsborough' in 4 m, and noforeignland reviewers (2026) place sculptures at the Jack-a-Dan moorings north of Hillsborough, so the coordinate is set in the water just west of Jack-a-Dan islet, derived from the OpenStreetMap islet outline. Confirm the exact spot with a dive shop. Accessible to snorkellers and divers. Dive Carriacou charges a US$3.50 per day surcharge for diving the park and runs non-guided snorkel trips there. Don't touch or stand on the sculptures; the rigging carries coral and sponge nurseries.
