Îlets de Sainte-Anne Nature Reserve (seabird islets)
14° 24.9′ N · 60° 49.9′ W
Four coral-limestone islets off Pointe Baham (Hardy, Percé, Burgaux and Poirier), protected since 1995 as one of the most important seabird nesting sites in the Antilles.
Practical
Position from French Wikipedia (RNN125, 5.57 ha). Nesting birds include sooty and bridled terns, tropicbirds, brown noddies and Audubon's shearwaters. Landing is not allowed: access is strictly forbidden on the reserve and within 50 m of the islets Hardy, Burgaux, Percé and Poirier. Watch from a dinghy at a respectful distance. Use the reserve mooring buoys rather than anchoring. Multihulls World also notes Hardy Island is a reserve where landing is forbidden and buoys protect the seabed.
