Grenada Hash House Harriers
12° 3.2′ N · 61° 45.2′ W · approximate
The Grenada Hash House Harriers run a weekly walk or run on a marked trail through rainforest, plantations and villages, ending with drinks and food at a rum shop. Cruisers love it as a way to see the hidden interior.
Practical
Position is nominal (St George's); the start moves around the island each week. It runs every Saturday afternoon (grenadahash.com). The venue is posted on the 'Next Hash' page and announced on the cruisers' net. Trails suit both walkers and runners, so wear shoes that can get muddy and bring water. Cruisers usually share taxis or arranged buses from the south-coast bays. Wikivoyage describes runs of a couple of hours ending at a rum bar.
