Martinique sells only butane, not propane, so cooking-gas refills are a planning item. The Étang Z'Abricots marina is one of the listed refill points on the west coast.
Practical
Position is the Marina de l'Étang Z'Abricots office (tourism listing). Noonsite (Martinique yachting essentials, updated 2026) says only butane is available and propane cannot be obtained. It lists refill contacts: Bichik Services (0596) 74 70 94, La Boutik SMCR (0596) 50 19 12, CEBI (0596) 74 95 43, L'Étang Z'Abricots marina (0596) 75 11 57 and VITO (0596) 76 73 78. A 2016 cruiser found they could not get a foreign propane tank filled, only exchanged, and bought a 3 kg Campingaz bottle and regulator instead. Carry a European adapter and expect to swap bottles rather than fill your own. Vito stations are common around Fort-de-France; the nearest to the marina on OSM is at 14.60666, -61.04243. Ask whether a station sells bottles before going.
