Fort-de-France Fuel Dock (CAP DCML, Baie des Tourelles)
14° 36.2′ N · 61° 3.5′ W · approximate
A fuel pontoon in the Baie des Tourelles careenage selling diesel, petrol and water to yachts and dinghies, with an official clearance computer at the station.
Practical
French customs list (2026): Station CAP DCML, Centre de carénage, Baie des Tourelles, tel +596 596 71 74 64, open Mon-Sat 8 am-5 pm, Sun and holidays 9:15 am-noon. Noonsite (2018): enter the small marina and look for the DCML sign in green letters. Two moorings to lie to, and a floating pontoon with plastic rings and no attendant to take lines; the hose just reached the stern tank of a 42 ft boat. Wear shoes, as the plastic gets scorching. Prices then were €1.20/litre diesel and €1.41 petrol (verify locally). ActiveCaptain: the Maxi Marine-signed fuel dock also has water, sells beer, ice and snacks, and has around 2 m maximum depth; the grey plastic floating dock is the fuel berth. Propane is not sold in Martinique, only butane. Position is approximate: inside the Carenantilles careenage.
