Aimé Césaire Airport Crew Changes (Le Lamentin)
14° 35.4′ N · 61° 0.2′ W
Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport (FDF) sits at the head of the Baie de Fort-de-France at Le Lamentin, about 12 km from the city, making the bay anchorages and marinas the easiest crew-change point on the island.
Practical
IATA FDF, ICAO TFFF. It handled 1.875 million passengers in 2024 and is a hub for Air Caraïbes, Air Antilles and others (French Wikipedia). It is a short taxi ride from Étang Z'Abricots marina: a 2019 Noonsite comment budgeted about €20 each way (verify locally) and recommended renting a car near the marina. From Pointe du Bout or Trois-Îlets it is a longer drive round the bay. Fly in on the same day only if your boat is in a secure marina; Fort-de-France anchorage time is limited to 48 hours. Position from French Wikipedia.
Best for
