The Lobster Trap

18° 43.5′ N · 64° 23.0′ W

A waterside lobster house with its main dining room built out over the water at the Setting Point mooring field: wood-fired lobster, sunsets and moonlit dinners.

Practical

Position from the BVI Tourism listing. Lobster is grilled on an open wood fire in traditional Anegada style; covered dining for wet nights. Anegada Beach Club's free shuttle to the north shore picks up here, and Virgin Islands Sailing (2026) names the Lobster Trap as the departure point for local skipper excursions to Horseshoe Reef and Conch Island. OpenStreetMap shows the Anegada Express ferry from Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour arriving at the Lobster Trap dock. Yacht Warriors recommends booking dinner by VHF or in person.

Best for

Over-the-water lobster dinner and the pickup point for the north-shore shuttle
