The Indians

18° 19.9′ N · 64° 37.7′ W

Four pinnacle rocks about 50 ft high rising off Pelican Island, wrapped in coral gardens and shallow pools; one of the best snorkels in the BVI and a gentle dive with a swim-through tunnel.

Practical

Position from Wikipedia (The Indians). Coast Pilot 5: four remarkable pinnacles about 200 yards west of Pelican Island. Depth roughly 10 to 50 ft (Blue Water Divers); beginner dive site (Sail Caribbean Divers). National Parks Trust day moorings: day use only, 90-minute limit, first come first served, permit required; vessels 55 to 80 ft use only the large yellow balls. Yacht Warriors advises waiting for a ball rather than dinghying from the Bight (a long dinghy ride). Arrive early: balls fill quickly in season. Exposed to northerly swell and can have current; it is a day stop only.
