Devil's Bay

18° 25.7′ N · 64° 26.7′ W

A horseshoe of white sand wrapped in boulders at the end of the Baths trail, quieter than The Baths beach and good for a swim and snorkel among the rocks.

Practical

Devil's Bay National Park (established 1963, 58 acres). Reached on foot by a 15-minute trail through dry scrub and boulders from the car park at the top of The Baths, or by the boulder trail from The Baths beach. By sea: use the NPT mooring buoys outside the bay (anchoring is banned to protect coral heads), then follow the swim-line markers through the channel to the dinghy dock-line. At the south end of the beach a trail leads to Stoney Bay, where Atlantic swells pound the shore. Shade umbrellas on the beach. Same Greater Baths Day Pass (US$3 adult, US$2 child) and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm hours. Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap beach outline.
