Cinnamon Bay Plantation Ruins & Nature Loop

18° 21.2′ N · 64° 45.3′ W

A shaded half-mile loop through the ruins of one of St John's earliest sugar estates, with signs on plants, Taíno archaeology and land-use history.

Practical

Position is the Wikipedia point for Cinnamon Bay Plantation (NRHP-listed 1978; archaeology documents Taíno ceremonial activity). The loop starts across North Shore Road from the beach at the factory ruins; about 0.5 mile, easy, with the longer Cinnamon Bay Trail (2.2 miles up and back) climbing to Centerline Road (island guide). Wet and slippery after rain.
